Welcome to the opera. We will now perform for you the entire history of England. England is a small nation containing many things but mostly it is a small nation containing sheep.
Come with us on a high-speed journey through the entire history of our modest little home. Starting from the beginning of time and bouncing through the Stone and Bronze Ages, the brutal Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Viking invasions, the power-crazed whims of the Tudors, the Black Death, colonialism and the highs and lows of the 20th century until we’re left standing on the edge of the white cliffs of time looking out into the future. Buckle up!
