This autumn we've been working closely with Arts & Gardens on tree-climbing opera GIANT. Here's a view of what we got up to at the in-progress showing.
Horticultural artists, Arts & Gardens, invited us to help develop a new opera for children, to be performaed while climbing trees(!) Inspired by Oscar Wilde's classic short story 'The Selfish Giant', GIANT brought together artists including Hannah Conway, Peter Cant, Ruari Glasheen, Finn McNicholas and child composer Alma Deutscher.
Working with young people from north London, the Great Big Tree Climbing Company and Arts & Gardens, we researched and developed at short work in progress. Here are some choice shots from the performance with the 'Agents of G.I.A.N.T.' - enjoy!
