British Composer Awards Nomination

We're delighted that Snappy Opera The Feast That Went Off With A Bang by Ed Hughes has been nominated for a British Composer Award in the category of Amateur or Young Performers!

Huge congratulations to composer Ed Hughes, librettist Peter Cant and all of the children involved in the development of The Feast That Went Off With A Bang on this brilliant achievement.

The other nominees include The Hogboon by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies and Who We Are by 2017/18 Snappy Operas composer, Kerry Andrew.

The winner will be anounced at an awards ceremony presented by BBC Radio 3 presenters Andrew McGregor and Sara Mohr-Pietsch at the British Museum in London on 6 December.
