Filmmaker

Sophie Broadgate is a Cumbrian filmmaker whose work spans across narrative, documentary and artist moving image. Her work has shown in both film festival and exhibition settings including: Manchester Film Festival, BFI Flare, Queer Lisboa, Palace International festival and The Lowry. Her work focuses on the questioning of societal norms, gender and queer experiences. She loves collaborating with arts organisations, charities and community organisations that create spaces for people to access the arts, education and support.
