Siddhii Lagrutta was born in Venezuela, has Italian and German nationality, and grew up in the USA and Germany. She studied acting (Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg), and later voice with Marianne Spiecker-Henke (Hochschule für Künste Bremen). She performs regularly both as a Soloist and in ensemble and works as a multilingual speaker and actress.
Siddhii is a finalist in The International Competition for Sacred Music (Concorso di Musica Sacra) in Rome and winner of the first Prize at the international John-Cage Awards for Interpretation in Germany. She has completed a post graduate degree in Contemporary Chamber Music Performance and graduated with honours at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel.
She was nominated in London for Best Female Performance for the role of Ondine in the eponymous play, which she produced, composed and recorded the music for, which then received two further award nominations. She also won Best Supporting Actress at Focus International Film Festival for her performance in White Lily. Due to her eclectic upbringing, Siddhii has an affinity for different cultures and languages (she speaks Spanish, English, German, French and Italian). Future engagements include performances in festivals for contemporary music, such as the Eclat Festival in Stuttgart and Biennale Bremen.
