Mathilde is a freelance director and the artistic director of August 012 theatre company. She started her professional career as a designer for the BBC, Ex Machina and Robert Lepage internationally before becoming resident director and literary manager at Theatre Royal Stratford East. She studied at Central Saint Martins and Ecole Philippe Gaulier, has a masters from Birkbeck College and was a founding member of National Theatre Wales. She is based in Cardiff.
