Graziana Presicce is an Italian pianist based in Yorkshire. She completed a scholarship-funded PhD in Music Performance (University of Hull, 2020) with a research exploring music listeners’ experiences of visual imagery. As a performer, Graziana actively engages in recitals both as a soloist as well as chamber musician, including performances abroad – most recently, New York and France (2025). Highlights include a concerto engagement with the Hull Philharmonic Orchestra (2023) and the recorded premiere of works by Ethel Leginska, alongside baritone Lee Tsang. The project was also featured on BBC Radio 3’s Music Matters.
She recently established the Luna Piano Duo with pianist Amy Butler. The duo is part of Making Music’s Recommended Artists and is working towards their first release in 2026. Other collaborations include multidisciplinary performances with mezzo soprano Lisa J. Coates, working towards creative ways in making classical music accessible. In 2018 and 2019, she joined as deputy pianist for Silent Uproar’s UK tours of the award-winning theatre production A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad). As a pianist, her interests embrace a variety of musical styles and always looks forward to new, creative experiences. Graziana is thrilled to be joining again Mahogany Opera’s team as Repetiteur.
