Elinor is an experienced educator, workshop leader and voice specialist who passionately believes in the transformative power of community singing and performance. Elinor has acted as vocal facilitator for wide range of projects from working with children and young people to refugee groups to mental health choirs. Recent projects include Musical Director Snappy Operas, Choir Director for the National Spinal Unit Ensemble Hospital Passion Play (Garsington Opera at the V&A), Vocal Tutor and performer Magna Carta – The Freedom Game (Royal Albert Hall commissioned by Surrey Arts), Vocal Tutor Towards An Unknown Port (Linbury Studio, ETO Learning and Participation), Choir Director Guy Garvey’s Meltdown Festival (Royal Festival Hall), Vocal Tutor Songs Of The Marsh (ROH L&P), Vocal Tutor Friday Afternoons and Group A (Snape Maltings). As a singer Elinor has performed many lead roles with Operaupclose and The National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company in London and on tour nationwide, and as a chorister with Opera Holland Park and Garsington Opera. She was also a soloist with André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra on their world tour.
