Maria da Luz Ghoumrassi

Maria da Luz Ghoumrassi is an award-winning dancer, choreographer/movement director, performer and educator working through multidisciplinary arts.
As a dancer, she was in the original cast of The Lion King working with Garth Fagan and performed for Kokuma, Tate Modern-Joan Jonas, sculptor Hazel Reeves, Anthea Hamilton among others.
As Movement director and choreographer, she has worked for TV, Opera and Theatre including The Mighty Boosh, Border Crossings, Icon Theatre and opera director Thomas Guthrie.
