Caroline Slade

Music director

Caroline is excited to return for another year of Snappy Operas, after being Musical Director for the 2019 festival in Northamptonshire. Caroline is a singer and conductor, and loves working with singers of all ages, from 2 to 102! She has led choirs for Opera North, English National Opera, Leeds and Bradford Cathedrals, John Lewis and the NHS. She has also performed at the BBC Proms and the World Choir Games. Caroline has also been a voice coach for ITV, and a lecturer at the University of Leeds and the University of Reading. When she’s not making music, Caroline enjoys rowing on the Thames and growing vegetables.
