Anna Jones

Designer

Anna trained on the Motley Theatre Design Course. She is co-director of Curious Space who specialise in performance, immersive exhibitions and experiences (www.curiousspace.com).

Anna likes to create strong relationships between the audience and the performers, or immersive environments to support a narrative and convey meaning and emotions.

Performance includes: Fidelio Glyndebourne (2021), Eye to Eye Brighton International Festival (co-produced with Glyndebourne) Peter Grimes Oper Köln, Nils le merveilleux voyage Le Petit Théâtre Lausanne, The Enormous Room Stopgap Dance (Sadler’s Wells and tour), Brundibar Mahogany Opera Group (Jubilee Hall and tour), Bow Down Mahogany Opera Group (Brighton International Festival and tour).

Exhibition includes: Opera: Passion, Power & Politics for the Victoria & Albert Museum in London; Le Mal du Voyage Museum of Ethnography Neuchâtel (Switzerland), Driven: 007 x Spyscape Spyscape New York, Immortalised Historic England (The Workshop, Vauxhall).

Experiences include: La Garenne Wildlife Park Switzerland, Nature au galop Hermès with Mica Moca performance event, Neverhide - Rayban with Yours Truly site specific performance event Shoreditch Town Hall. Service with Style National Railway Museum York.
