David Bernstein

Trustee

David has worked in the civil service, as a lawyer, and on the boards of a small food importing company and a private investment company. Now retired, he is a trustee of three other voluntary organisations, and of two grant-giving foundations. Although he claims no great knowledge or expertise in music, he is a keen opera and theatre goer, and has been a supporter of Mahogany Opera Group for many years. In addition to the arts, he is also interested in penal affairs, addiction, human rights and refugee issues.
